A year in a Nutshell

Isaac as a Newborn
This year has been full of changes for our family. We had the birth of our son Isaac Grey on June 25th, weighing in at 7lbs 13oz and 22inches as a healthy baby boy. With the summer to adjust to new parenthood we then returned to training at the missionary training center. Since then, he has grown so much and is learning new things everyday. Recently he has learned to sit up, laughing and playing much more, and he is saying a lot of baby words!

We are learning so much more about tribal missions and how to be better equipped to serve overseas this semester as we finish up our trainging here. We have taken classes such as Culture and language practicum where we can learn and practice language learning techniques and ways to learn the people groups culture so we don't make so many mistakes. Some other classes that we have taken are classes like curriculum development (to develop relevent Bible materials for the people), translation (to learn what it takes to translate a Bible into a previously unwritten language), literacy (to learn the ins and outs of how to teach people to read), and much more.

We just started this blog, so subscribe to our posts if you want to keep up with what's goin on with the williams' :)
